Grant

Grant Mealey – Head Coach

Grant is a Strength & Conditioning coach and the owner of Sunshine Coast Strength, with extensive experience working across athletic development, high-performance sport, and long-term physical preparation. He has coached athletes from junior pathways through to elite and representative levels, supporting performance development, injury risk reduction, and return-to-performance following injury.

Grant has a strong track record working with field-based athletes, including rugby league, AFL, and strength sports, applying evidence-informed strength and conditioning principles to improve speed, strength, power, and movement efficiency. His coaching approach emphasises building resilient, durable athletes who can perform consistently across long seasons.

Grant takes a personalised approach to coaching his clients, ensuring every program is aligned with the athlete or client’s goals—whether that’s returning to sport, improving performance, or building long-term physical capacity.

Jackson Hudson – Exercise Physiologist

Jackson is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with experience working across both high-performance sport and clinical exercise rehabilitation settings. He has worked with high-level athletes from a rehabilitation and performance perspective, supporting injury management, return-to-play, and ongoing physical development.

Jackson also works with a broad range of clinical populations, including individuals accessing DVA, NDIS, and other clinical support pathways, delivering evidence-based exercise interventions to improve function, independence, and quality of life. His clinical interests include musculoskeletal rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, and the use of exercise to support mental health outcomes.

In addition to his clinical work, Jackson holds an ASCA Level 1 Strength & Conditioning qualification, allowing him to apply structured strength and conditioning principles within athletic and performance-based environments.

He takes an individualised, outcomes-focused approach, ensuring exercise programs are safe, progressive, and tailored to each person’s goals and needs
